ARGE Pferderegion Nordwald   

ARGE Pferderegion Nordwald is a working group consisting of companies and private persons that is financed by a LEADER project and works on establishing an attractive horse region in Northern Waldviertel.

The project region consists of 44 communities in Northern Waldviertel www.waldviertlergrenzland.at.

On 2nd December 2004 ARGE (working cooperation) Pferderegion Nordwald gave a very strong sign of life with a public starting event with 200 visitors.

During the first working period Pferderegion Nordwald has already gained business members und a lot of private members and some institutional members like „Landesfachverband für Reiten und Fahren" and GIZ Thayaland.

Part of the work at the moment is informing the communities who play a very important role in the project .

The operative work is in high speed process at the moment (conception papers, net of riding paths, establishing structures etc.

   

AIMS of ARGE Pferderegion Nordwald:

  • Marked horse path systems

  • Connection of regional offers

  • Cooperation with other horse regions in Austria and the Czech Republic

  • Enforcement of economic and touristic activities with package offers: Horse riding, Coach tours, events etc

  • Common advertising strategies
